Bethesda’s upcoming action RPG, Starfield, is more ambitious than playtesters had been expecting, based on the latest rumor.
Starfield is an upcoming action role-playing video game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. It is the next major game to be developed by Bethesda Game Studios, known for the Fallout and The Elder Scrolls series.
The game is set in space and features a new open-world single-player experience. The game is not part of any existing franchise and is considered a new intellectual property.
It was officially announced by Todd Howard, the Director and Executive Producer of Bethesda Game Studios at E3 2018. However, there is no official release date announced yet and information about the game is limited.
During the latest episode of XNC Podcast, host Colt Eastwood mentioned that he’s heard from a channel of people, who have presumably been play-testing Starfield, that Bethesda’s forthcoming action RPG is bigger and more ambitious than what was previously expected.
Starfield is greater than anything found in Skyrim and Fallout, according to Eastwood’s sources. It builds upon all the studios produced for these two games and goes far beyond it. He asserts that he spoke to a group of playtesters who were actively involved in the game, and he has heard nothing but positive things about it. He’s been told that Bethesda “nailed” the sense of size.
Although some of the people he’s spoken to, some of whom he claimed were negative about the game, have given him only positive impressions of Starfield, Eastwood indicated that he doesn’t plan to oversell the game to fans.
